Water Packaging
In Smith Lake, New Mexico, 250 Native American families live without running water. The TKOH water bottle was created to help change that.
The bottle was concepted for the international water charity and human rights organization DigDeep Water → who wanted to create a water bottle to sell to donors to raise money and awareness for their $2 million water access project on the reservation. Taking cues from the water storage barrels used on the reservation for monthly water allotment, the design unites the donor/consumer to the people both in physical form and graphic language.
Ideally, these blue water barrels, used to store a months supply of water, will no longer be necessary on the reservation when running water is brought into 250 homes. Until that is possible, this water bottle serves as a reminder of solidarity and active participation to alleviate American water poverty.
